About Us
ESU’s all-campus mixed choir, A Cappella Choir, is the flagship choral ensemble of the university and is open to all undergraduate and graduate students by audition. A Cappella Choir is comprised of singers from all majors. This ensemble provides students with a rigorous and challenging experience of rehearsing and performing choral music at a high artistic level. With a rich regional, national, and international performance history, the ESU A Cappella Choir sings a wide variety of standard choral literature from numerous eras and diverse cultures.
Membership Benefits
A Cappella Choir is open to anyone regardless of major. By joining the A Cappella Choir, you are joining a group of singers dedicated to building a positive and welcoming community. We hold community events each month for everyone to gather and have fun. These events range from bowling nights, board game nights, and movie nights to kickball tournaments and video game tournaments! If you are looking for a rich musical experience where you can make lifelong friends, then consider joining A Cappella Choir!
Projects & Initiatives
Each semester, A Cappella Choir performs two concerts and hosts community events that are open to anyone interested in the group. Please check back in August for a full list of events!
