About Us
The Band Student Service Organization, also known as Band-Aids, is here to serve the athletic bands. We work within the athletic bands, which includes, but not limited to: Marching Hornets, Colorguard, Stingers Dance Team, Hornet Cheer, Elegante Independent Winterguard, VolleyBand, and Hornet Revue, to provide assistance in running smooth rehearsals, feeding athletic band members, and providing funding for small necessities to ensure the safety of all of the members. If you are a member of the ESU athletic band family and are interested in joining the Band Student Service Organization, please talk to Band-Aids leadership or your team/section leadership for more information.
Membership Benefits
To help the athletic bands rehearsals and performances run smoothly. We aim to serve the athletic bands and be a role model of change that will help grow the ensembles in a positive direction. Members receive the support and opportunity to help the athletic bands without being in a leadership position. It is also a great foundation and opportunity for younger members who want to become members of leadership to show their dedication to the ensemble. For education majors, we also host a music festival that provides members with experience working a music festival to help them when they become educators.
