About Us
The Black Student Union is a service organization which serves as a bonding force for students of color at ESU. The goals of BSU are largely aimed at bringing about an atmosphere on the ESU campus in which African American students can be academically motivated, culturally stimulated, and have an outlet to voice opinions, express views, and adjust to the ESU campus environment. The organization also provides social activities that are geared towards, but not exclusive to the African American community. Meaning all students are welcome and encouraged to join this organization.
Membership Benefits
Being in BSU offers many benefits including informational meetings, social meetings, and community meetings. Some meetings involved topics of education, leadership, relationships, generational traumas, fun uplifting activities, and more. BSU gears towards creating a safe space that fosters diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
