About Us
SATO, the student art therapy organization exists to promote the profession of art therapy, work to advance mental health initiatives in Kansas and nationally. Additionally, SATO serves as a social organization for graduate art therapy students and undergraduate students interested in a career in art therapy. SATO members present at state and national conferences and often have the opportunity to attend international field work.

Benefits of membership include networking opportunities within the art therapy profession, rewarding opportunities for outreach and building a sense of community, travel and discounted professional development opportunities. Each SATO group makes it their own!
