About Us

Spanish Club at Emporia State is an organization dedicated to making the Spanish language accessible to anyone and everyone! The club offers a variety of events, activities, and opportunities to expand your knowledge and abilities within the Spanish language and culture. It is a welcoming, low pressure environment that is based in learning and growing together through speaking Spanish, hosting fun events, and participating actively on campus. If you are interested in progressing your learning of Spanish or want a great environment to begin your immersion experience, then Spanish Club is the place for you.   • Collaboration with Walnut Elementary’s Spanish Club
  • Outreach to campus and community members with Se Habla
  • Sigma Delta Pi/Spanish Honors Society
  • Se Habla (Thursdays 6-7pm in Plumb Hall Room 312)
  • Walnut Elementary Spanish Club (Tuesday/Thursday 3:15-3:45 pm at Walnut Elementary)
  • Sigma Delta Pi/Spanish Honors Society Induction Ceremony (April 23rd from 6-7pm in Plumb Hall room 309)
  • Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros (April 30th 6:30-7:30pm with Emporia Public Library)
