About Us
The Student Veterans Association (SVA) is open to everyone—not just military members—but anyone who supports the military community. Our lounge, located on the second floor of the Union in Bloomer Veterans Hall, provides a welcoming and inclusive space for students to connect, collaborate, and build community. Members can study, socialize, and engage with peers while enjoying a supportive environment designed to foster camaraderie and shared experiences.
In addition to offering a space for daily connection, the lounge hosts monthly SVA meetings, where members come together to discuss initiatives, plan events, and strengthen the student community. By creating a dedicated area for interaction and regular gatherings, the SVA encourages mentorship, networking, and a sense of belonging for all students who value and support military service.

You will then be granted access through your Hornet ID card.
The Student Veterans Center offers a collaborative space and an area for conversation for all students who support and connect with the military community.

Projects & Initiatives
We hold yearly Veterans Day Bar Crawl and other events to raise money benefiting local veterans. We are happy to take part in events with other RSOs, and represent the ESU student veterans.
