About Us

Trauma-Informed Educators Club (TIES) is an organization open to all students at Emporia State. TIES strives to prepare future educators, psychologists, and other pre-professional majors for potential experiences they will encounter in the field. Knowing how to recognize trauma, both in yourself and others, will aid in learning about the effects of trauma as well as how to influence the impact these experiences have on others. We would love for you to join us in becoming trauma-informed!
