About Us
Union Activities Council is a university community group designed to serve as the primary programming organization at Emporia State University. The purpose of this organization is to provide well-rounded programs of social, educational, cultural and recreational activities for all students, faculty, administration, alumni, ESU and the Emporia community. Through encouraging student-directed activity, individual social competency and group effectiveness, the Union Activities Council plays a vital role in the development of persons; while at the same time, it is an important facet of the educational program of the university.
Membership Benefits
Joining the Union Activities Council can provide you with many different benefits including, but not limited to, choosing events at ESU, meeting new people, gaining event planning experience, being involved at ESU, gaining leadership experience, learning transferrable skills, and much more!
Upon satisfactory fulfillment of all Chairperson responsibilities and compliance with UAC performance criteria, each Chairperson shall receive a stipend of $250 per semester.
